Our Journey

We started a social media marketing company in 2022, working to connect bars and restaurants with college students, helping all groups return to normal city life from the pandemic.

 

What we discovered was that whole communities were in need of a new way to connect, that college students were eager to discover what was going on around them, and that everyone was fed up with infinite scroll platforms distracting them from what's really going on.

 

After graduating from CUA in 2023, Co-Founders Jack Dee and Will Simone began designing Hoppin,  constructing a plan, building an advisory team, raising capital, and developing the platform. Since launching on March 17th, Hoppin has gained over 700 users, received amazing feedback and support from the CUA community, and has continued to iterate and refine the platform
